Rawafed is an educational social initiative in Sharjah focused on informal education and vocational skills.

Through a partnership with Skills3, our vocational sewing program supports economically impacted young women, fostering economic independence.

In a fast-paced, result-driven workshop, Skills3 trained 12 young women and a team manager in July 2022. This train-the-trainer model aims to impact 100 women, ensuring efficiency, minimal wastage, quality control, and enabling them to start producing for sale after just three practical sessions.

Skills3 continue to monitor the trainor in training more young women at Rawafed and also procure their products for sale through our distribution channels and retail partners.

The women continue to sew the products for sale under their own label ‘Joud’, or ‘generousity’.
