Workshop with HSBC creating Superhero Play Sets

Every child deserves to be a superhero. In this joyful collaboration, HSBC volunteers created one-of-a-kind capes for children from disadvantaged backgrounds—turning an ordinary day into an extraordinary celebration of strength, courage, and cake.

Supporting vulnerable children with opportunities for joy and creative play is a meaningful way to engage employees in purposeful team-building. In partnership with Companies For Good, we facilitated a hands-on workshop focused on creating superhero playsets for children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

HSBC employees handcrafted colourful capes, masks, and accessories—each one designed to help a child feel unique, brave, and celebrated. The activity fostered collaboration and creativity, while reminding participants of the power of small, thoughtful gestures to bring light into a child’s life.
